CAT-HAWK GARDENS

Kokedama Gardens & Workshops

Kokedama (moss ball) is a Japanese art form of living sculpture suspended in air.

Very similar to bonsai, the plant and roots of a kokedama are contained in a small space. It's form and preparation represents the Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic principles, defined as one of beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.”

Cat-Hawk Gardens holds an array of workshops both private and public on how to create your own Kokedama. If you would like to know when the next workshop is held, please click on "Register Today" and it will take you to our workshop schedule. If you would like to set up a private party workshop please email us by filling out the contact form below.
